Evidence of setting up equipment
In this image I am testing my camera's focus in a field.Match screen shots to storyboard
COMPARISON: In scene 1 I altered my angle but kept the contents of this scene relatively the same.
COMPARISON: In scene 3 I changed the high angle of my story board plan, as I wanted this scene to appear cozy and calm and I felt a high angle may dramatize this scene to much.
COMPARISON: In scene 5 I followed the story board plan of adding fairy lights to my background to make this scene feel more mystical and I think I achieved this. In scene 6 I did a close up as I planned tracking a stick that moved against a branch, to replicate the movement of a walking stick.
Evidence of following risk assessment
images: rain coat, taping down wires, drinking water.
I used wellies with good grip, following my risk assessment so that I wouldn't slip in the mud.
I brought water so that I didn't get dehydrated, as listed in my risk assessment.
I also brought medical supplies as requested by my risk assessment.
Genre analysis
Adventure genre
I looked at screenshots from three different movies in the adventure genre: Atlantis The Lost Empire, Jurassic park and Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End.
My story line follows conventions as my character goes on a journey that had an end goal, a picnic. All of the movies I have listed have an end goal and setting they are trying to reach. I chose a main character 'Tansy', this character follows adventure conventions as their friendly demeaner presented in the script and the unthreatening shot types they are presented in makes the viewer want to root for what the main character wants to achieve.
I dressed my character in cottage core clothing that I felt matched the cozy theme of the story, and fit with the adventure genre convention of appropriate clothing for the setting. For example in pirates of the Caribbean the characters wear multiple layers to protect them from harsh cold winds as they are sailing on a ship. My character is in the English countryside, they wore large boots, knit trousers, a shirt, a gray knit jumper, a thick poncho and a sash, I think this costume would keep the character warm as England in quite cold, they would be protected from the wind and some rain, their boots would help them travel through rough terrain and their sash would help them carry the water they need for a long walk.
I followed conventions in my work as I chose to film in places with the specific colour scheme of warm green and earth tones and used it throughout my film. I also showed various landscapes for my character to explore, I used shot types that are used in the adventure genre such as wide shots that showed of the landscape my character was in, long shots to showcase the characters actions and two shots to showcase characters interacting.
M1: Apply the codes and conventions for the chosen genre in the materials recorded

Trudge in the mud comparison to Arthur and the invisibles
codes and conventions of adventure genre
In this scene Arthur the main character is running through a field, I tried to replicate an action shots such as this by panning my camera, to create movement, I did this because the object I am filming is still. Action shots follow adventure genre conventions as it showcases the stakes and challenges are willing to go through this follows the Quest Narrative of a adventure.
