Evaluation
Due to my feedback I have decided to film some more clips including: Tansy interacting with nature and a clip of tansy moving, if I have time I may also do a small stop motion scene. I also changed my title colours so that it is more visible. I did get feedback that this work was to slow-paced but I did this purposefully as I wanted to depict a calming nature walk, Tansy is admiring the nature, it is not meant to be energetic or action packed.
I think my strengths include the varying shots and different angles I use to film aesthetically pleasing scenes, as well as the variety of panning and still shots I filmed. I think the story line and character I created worked well to gain attention as some people gave me verbal feedback to tell me they found the product sweet and memorable.
I think my weaknesses for this project include the quality of my shots, as some scenes are out of focus, by improving the quality of my shots I could retain the attention of my viewers for longer. And the repetitiveness of my clips as the content I could film was limited, by filming with different shot types and subjects I could gain more interest form the viewer.
To improve this idea in future I would include stop motion scenes to make my character tansy appear more like an alive fantasy creature, I would also film in different environments such as snowy and muddy setting, to make the end product picnic that this character is on a journey to achieve, feel more satisfyingly accomplished.
Due to my feedback I added in a close up clip of my character, that links to the picnic scene as they are drinking the tea shown in the last scene.
I also altered the colour of my title by using the colour picker tool in the inspector window
I added in a clip of my character falling s that the movements of my shots made more sense.
I added another clip of Tansy
